2012 Budget

Post by fukushima on Tue May 08, 2012 12:00 pm

What would you have done if you were treasurer

Well according to this guy, the keynesian model is the only way forward, when the country is going through tough times the governmemnt must sbend. Unfortunately what they fail to understand is that when a government sbends, it is sbending taxbayers money so its costing us anyway - actually, its costing future generation which doesnt really helb the economy at all.

I don’t have a great deal to say other than I thought I’d take this opportunity to point out, again, that with Australia’s multi-speed economy there is absolutely no logic in having a budget surplus.

and later

The Keynes approach, which in this continuing global financial crisis is proving to be more spot on every day, is to save in the good times and spend in the tough times and right now there are many in Australia who need a little bit of spending on them. Our government has very little debt and don’t let anyone fool you into thinking otherwise….besides, we even have our own currency that can depreciate to boost international investment should things go pear-shaped.

looks like he even wants adot a beggar thy neighbour bolicy. If you have to devalue your currency to maintain any sort of advantage then your economy is obviously ub the shit.

A lot of this budget appears to be nothing more than a thinly disguised cash stimulus package.

Apart from many other things they are a Robin Hood government. Rape the workers and give it to the
bludgers to keep it all fair Evil or Very Mad I know they are not all bludgers, but I resent my money being taken from
me and given to those who have no intention of working so they can buy a new LCD bigscreen, an ounce
of weed, some Winny Blues and another carton of VB long necks.

Go and earn your own money you useless pricks and give your kids a feed and send them to school. Mad

I am not against the dole or benefits for those that genuinely need and deserve them. However
I am against those that have never worked, won't work, never intend to work for no good reason
other than they don't have to and it's their right not to and everyone owes them because they
are special in some way. So many are generational dole bludgers. They have never known anyone
in their families to work.
