Heres an interesting video of a guy in New Zealand who questioned privatization of public assets.
By asking the new private corporation sending him remittances for paying them for use of a public owned asset- to send him an actual signed bill as per the law. Before he paid his electricity.

Any of you who have been self employed will realise you have to sign a bill or its meaningless.
The electricity corporation instead of sending a proper bill as requested ( because they know theyre breaking the law by charging us for use of our own asset so they send out suggestions instead and hope you pay) sent the police to his private property to bully him into allowing a disconnection guy to come in and cut off his power.

What has the police got to do with a contractual dispute between a guy and a nonpublic, overseas owned corporation?
None whatsoever if they made an oath to uphold the law.
What must happen is the business takes the guy to court. And a jury decides an outcome. And a court order is made.
This is due process. That police follow or they go to prison.
