I found a used siringe in my driveway Empty I found a used siringe in my driveway

Post by centralPA Sun Jun 24, 2012 1:15 pm

I showed 2 of the neighbors- including next door. I am glad I found it when I did. Next door had a party last night late into the night. Luckily it was not intrusive like it could have been. No fireworks- noise was reasonable.

If I had found the used siringe this morning- I would have thought those druggies!

I think if blew out of a car on the main road- as it was windy. I seen a dollar store bag, new, and a dime was also in my driveway.

If next door threw a party and YOU found a used siringe the next day- you sure would wonder. Glad the timing went right.

blow out of a car due to the wind Rolling Eyes PA you have to face some facts. Either your neighbours or
there friends are Junkies, shoot'n shit into their arms. You already said that it was that type of
neighbourhood due to all the rentals, so it shouls come as not suprise

Oh no doubt someone who lives in THIS town used that needle.

No doubt.

People walk and drive by all the time. It could be anyone. But we have many arrests here. We have a top rate police chief. He comes from allentown- and thinks he can stop here from getting bad like there.

Think about it tho- you know how upset I get- I cant afford to blame someone unfairly. I have shown them what I found. I said you have to see it to believe it.

BTW- there is a retarded couple who live in back- they never have lids on the garbage. I need to find out if they are diabetic. SOmeone could be ...

The good news is I slept well last night- even tho a late party went on. I did not even have to close the windows upstairs.. I did downstairs tho. But no problem.

CPA I have to live vicariously through you, my closest neighbours are about 400 meters away to
the left and the right and about 2km to the front and maybe 5km or more to my rear (and that is still to close to my rear).

Had one of the neighbours to the front of us drop in today. One of his working dogs took off and ended up
in with our dogs. Not sure how there wasn't a major dog fight. I have 3 male dogs and the visitor
was a male dog, doesn't normally work out to well. The wife went into town and left the front gate open.
Not a problem for our dogs as they know not to go out the gate, unfortunately the visiting dogs don't appreciate boundaries.

Anyway it all ended up okay, no dog fights, the owner found his dog ad I didn't get bitten. cheers

Dogs are very aware of other dogs and scents. They have keen sight and hearing.

The glass is half full.

My goals- and this is connected to silver - is to network more- to get to know LOCAL people- for contacts for later. Because when things get bad- the LOCAL people are the ones who can make or break you. It helps to post on here to clear my head.. and I would rather spout attitude and mis steps HERE online- rather then face to face -where I am stuck living.

Compared to a year ago- I DO know more local people. That has to happen on its own time line.

Smiles.

Fuck networking with more people who don't understand/believe/appreciate the situation. I will just end up with them at my house
eating my families store of food. I am not catering for the whole neighbourhood. The less they know about me the better.

We have a different strategy then.

Today I learned the gal next door when she lived here the last time was evicted because she was raided due do her running a brothel.

Right now the neighbor chris just gave me about 100 orange tall lilly bulbs from her garden. Which I am giving some to Cindy.

Confronted some kids and the retarded guy over how did a shopping cart get here- it needs to go back to the store. Pisses me off- and the store does too- they only want phoned in complaints not email- and I am not dealing with a freaking phone system. I HATE to talk on the phone.

======================================
Then...

Amazing! I planted some of those flowers for Cindy- she came outside crying because she was so happy- gave me a big hug!! I shake my head- it cost me nothing to make he so happy she cried. What price tag can you put on something like that? She said- "you do not know how much this means to me". (her boyfriend cuts my grass and lives 2 doors down)

Kids have been very quiet this week.

It would be great- but a truck knocked over the power pole to my house and cost me $337.28

Mate I still cannot see how the power pole out the front of your house is your responsibility. In in Aus the power poles and lines are the responsibility of the power company. Same goes with phone and water. If it is off your property it is their responsibility. My neignbour ran over my water meter with a bobcat when we were doing the road on the easement. Rang up the Council and they came and fixed it at no cost to us. The damage was on their side of the meter their responsibility.

I have no problem blowing off credit cards and that type of payments.

However- this guy is a small time electrician- not a chain. He came right away and he could have taken days. PA has strict laws on payment- to locals. He could take me before the judge and things could get ugly- he could put a lien on my house- and judges have even been known to put people in jail.

He will be paid in the end. There is no other way. He can also black list my name so no tradesman would ever come in the future if called.

You see CPA here in Aus a general electrician wouldn't even touch the poles and wires out the front of your house.

They would tell you to call the power company. If you called him you should pay him I agree. However I would be
sending the bill to the power company. Having said that it could be very different over there.

Mate if a car hit a power pole down the road I wouldn't even think of calling an electrician, I would be on the
phone to the power company who would send a team out to fix it. It is part of their infrastructure and for them
to maintain, repair and replace.

I hope the water main on the street doesn't bust or your road get all chewed up by an earthquake. That will really cost you.

Everyone I talked to says they should pay it.

I also filed a complaint with the PUC.

I am fighting the charge.

Sounds like the perfect opportunity to become self sufficent ! Central.

Have you ever sat down and worked out just how little power you really need.

For instance you eat your main meal next door of an evening if I'm not

mistaken. Have a think about it. Maybe sola power??? other alternatives

for hot water. Just a thought.

I have thought about doing that plenty of times. If I have a cash windfall I would love to go totally off the
grid, solar panels and batteries. however these set ups are pretty bloody expensive. The real cost is in the
batteries. I know people with properties off the electrical grid. They have a generator to charge everything up
when the weather has been bad for to long but from my understanding they don't need it to often.

The thing is that it can be done quiet cheap for only one person Just portable panels, a portable genset, wood fire with wet back for hot water. I have alot of the gear already in my shtf emergency container. With food , water, fuel, arse paper, water treatment the lot less than $10.000 aus.

I have an old wood stove in the shed I picked up for $25. In excellent condition and has plumbing for hot water. Would only take a little bit of work to plumb it up for hot water if I needed it.

$17.23 what is that for the day. Holy shit my quarterly bill is between $500 and $600. Thanks to a carbon
tax it is going to go up 18% over night. and nothing will change, just more money for the government, no
impact on the planet. Thank you very fucking much for stealing some more off me.

We are already energy efficient. Heat transfer hot water. Energy saving lights through out. Insulation and shutters.
I am anal when it comes to turning things off so, like many others we are going to have huge bills for things we have to do
like cooking, washing, ironing. You can tax me 100% I still need to cook my food and wash my clothes you know this. I
guess that is why you (the Government) are doing it. Guaranteed source of income due to our necessity. Leeches

All the more reason to look at alternative power sources. That sort of quantity would'nt be hard to replicate. study
