It's freezing

Post by Dirtbikepilot on Mon Jul 02, 2012 4:56 pm

Wow, it is so cold. I want to turn on the heater but now there is the tax for not wanting to freeze, so here I sit
Shivering in the dark knowing not one cent of the carbon tax is going to environmental needs. Just another tax.

You know I would not be anti Carbon tax if the Government put their money where their mouths were and put every
cent of the carbon tax to sustainable energy/pollution reduction sciences/schemes. But no it is just going into their coffers.
Just another tax. A tax at last on the air we breath.

If they are serious that this is all about climate change use every cent earned to put solar panels on everyone's rooves.
added bonus is production jobs, instillation jobs, apprenticeships for years to come. But then again that is not really what
it is about is it? It is really about needing more taxes...More of our money that they don't deserve so they can wast it
on ridiculous and frivolous shit, oh and increased wages for themselves. Rolling Eyes

I'm surprised at you dirtbike, as if Julia would rip anyone off!!

She's only concerned for the planet ( saving the trees ) and all that.

I bet she'd great in bed . Cos she'd think it might be her last.

Seriously though, she's the best female prime minister we've had.

And thats why. Suspect

the best way to save paying carbon tax is to avoid using fossil fuels. The financial incentive rewards us in our millions to all go cut some trees down and use them for firewood

Its a shame Its the end of the world, because I think i've just come up with a great invention.
Longjohns made out of an electric blanket, using a dewalt battery to power them.
The technology for electric undies has been around for a decade or so, but noones thought to bring a lithium battery to the fashion world.

Until now

Yeah I can see that. You could have different styles but all interchangeable with the same battery. Like Riobie. Then you could take it a step further and have recharging points at bus stops and the like. A sort of multi outlet fast charger. Everyone could stand around like gas bottles getting a top up.
I can see your not just a pretty face Pox Boy.

Well not quite like the GST. The GST was put to a vote via an election. Ole Johnny Howard said he was going to introduce it if he was reelected.
Well he was reelected on this policy which pretty much says the people voted the GST in. Labour, who were so anti GST didn't do anything to
repeal it when they got into power. I know he did at one time say no to a GST, but he did not lie about it to get voted in. He later changed his mind and put it to the people. If Howard went to the poles saying there would be no GST and then introduced it, yes, then it would be the same.

The Democrats were the ones who got it through after Bob Brown wouldnt vote for it, Democrat Leader did a turnaround, P.S wasnt long after she got out of politics (who paid who) Liberals got 49% of the votes to Labors 50.4% how is that people saying yes to gst? My way of thinking more said no. BLAME the Democrats Meg Lees.
